India: Terrorists get into a gunfight with Army, lose 8-0

(Spinagar) A gunfight broke out in Uri, about 103 km northwest of Srinagar city, this morning when Pakistani funded terrorists tried to infiltrate into India from Pakistan. Unfortunately for these so called holy warriors who really should have remained at home and observed the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, the Indian army happened to catch them doing so, a gun battle ensued and 6 terrorists died without breaking the first fast of the year.

In the Tral area of Kashmir, some 40 kilometres (25 miles) south of Srinagar, Shabza Bhat, head of the Hizbul Mujahideen militant group, was killed in a gunfight with government forces, two of Bhat's fighters were also killed in the gun battle.

As is the way of the Muslim, the local Islamic population took to the streets in which to protest the killing of an armed terrorist in a gun battle, resulting in a peaceful follower of Islam meeting his maker.

Ramadan death toll now stands at 28.
