(Hengyang) This evening 54 year old Yang Zanyun. Decided to
drive his SUV into a crowd of people in the city centre and then he jumped out
of the vehicle and proceeded to attack people with a knife. His actions
resulted in 9 people murdered and another 43 people injured.
He was arrested at the scene and police have stated that he was known to them
