Muslim Gunmen Kill Twelve at Headquarters of French Satirical Newspaper

(NRO) Gunmen attacked the Paris offices of the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo this morning, killing at least twelve according to reports. According to police, the gunmen shouted, “We have avenged the prophet.”

The attackers seem to have had Kalashnikov rifles and a rocket-propelled-grenade launcher; observers say they seem to have been professionally equipped and competently trained. There appear to have been at least two gumen, who escaped by car.
