Situation on border hots up between Lebanese army and Syrian based terrorists

(Arsal) After the weekend attack on the Lebanese town of Arsal by Syria-based Sunni terrorists who took umbrage on the Lebanese for arresting one of their leaders as he tried to enter the country for a bit of hard earned R&R, resulting in 12 Lebanese troops killed so far and about 24 others missing, the Lebanese have galvanised their armed forces and artillery has been used on Sunni terrorist positions outside the town, resulting in the deaths of around 50 peaceful terrorists who, I suppose, never got the chance to utter 'Allah ackba' before passing into a better life... well, so they are told.

It appears that the Lebanese are going to take a leaf out of the IDF book and teach these terrorists militants a lesson, and so for the past day they have reinforced the area with troops and tanks. Going in the opposite direction are thousands of civilians.

Whatever transpires, I'll bet nobody protests about the death toll, nor have protests on the streets of the world's capitals over the deaths of so many terrorists.
