(Gaza) Hamas released a video the other day purporting to be that of a new handmade sniper rifle which they have used to deadly effect in which to kill the Jews.
Well, the thing is, it isn't homemade rather, it is Austrian-made and has been displayed by the militant group in the past. The weapon is an Austrian Steyr HS.50 rifle, of which 800 were sold to Iran in 2005. Gee, I wonder where Hamas got their hands on one. Funny enough, American soldiers based in Iraq captured 100 of these deadly weapons in 2007. Seeing as they were sourced from Iran, it isn't hard to see where Hamas got the idea to claim they had built them.
