(England) It never fails to amaze me how the so called pious Islamic community in the West, which makes a huge song and dance about alcohol, has no problem with drugs. How many stories have you heard of Muslims refusing to serve alcohol (never a problem when its their own restaurant), transport shoppers carrying alcohol or even move it by forklift inside a warehouse?
Yet when it comes to drugs, those very same pious Muslims don't have a problem. Maybe there lies the reason why so many Muslims in the UK have been caught drug smuggling.
One such happy chappy was 30-year-old father-of-three Babar Khan who in May of this year was jailed for 15 years for being part of an Islamic gang who ran a little heroin drug smuggling operation. Anyway, things got a little worse for this pious little chemist when the government hit him with a £1 million pound bill.
