(Iraq) A car bomb attack aimed at Shia Muslims saw 13 people killed and 30 wounded in the village of Al, around 50 kilometres southeast of Baghdad. This had been preceded by an attack on a lawyer by armed gunmen who, unable to sate their bloodlust, proceeded to kill his wife, 5 children and a family friend.
