How under Islam anything can be banned

(Jakarta) Have you noticed how under Islam anything can be deemed 'haram' (forbidden), be it alcohol, sex, porn, gold or even gambling? Which is how idiots in Indonesia are going about in getting international environmental pressure group Greenpeace to pack their bags and leave the country.

It seems that somebody read that Greenpeace Netherlands received money from The Nationale Postcode Loterij (National Postcode Lottery), who in turn handed some money over to Greenpeace International, who in turn handed some money over to Greenpeace South-East Asia, who in turn handed some money over to Greenpeace Indonesia. Which is why large numbers of Islamic males have been protesting outside the local headquarters and have given Greenpeace a month to leave during the holy unholy month of Ramadan.

You have to admit you've got to love Islam for the rank hypocrisy they come out with during Ramadan. You know, that so called period of fasting. Err, Muslims stuff their faces before dawn, refrain from eating during daylight hours and then stuff their faces when the sun goes down. Gee, what's so bloody magnanimous about doing that? In fact, Muslims actually put on weight during Ramadan. Work that one out. Maybe that explains why so many people are murdered by Muslims during this so called time of reflection.

Which brings me back to the protests outside the Green Peace HQ in Jakarta. I suppose it has nothing to do with how GP have shone a spotlight on the illegal felling of pristine forests in the region. It seems that pious Muslims prefer money to what is written in that book of guidelines written by a paedophilic warlord.

Happy Ramadan, peeps.
