(Mogadishu) At least eight people have been killed when Al-Shabaab terrorists
ambushed a military convoy near Balad town, about 30 km north of the Somali
capital Mogadishu.
Two of those killed in the attack in the Balad region, about 30 kilometres north of Mogadishu, were regional lawmakers, police officer Abdikarin Ali said. The others were soldiers.
