ISIS Jihadists Behead Five Fortunetellers in Mosul

(BasNews) Islamic State (IS) militants in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul have kidnapped a group of women fortunetellers and beheaded them.

Sa’ed Mamuzini, spokesman for the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) office in Mosul, told BasNews that IS militants arrested five women who worked as fortunetellers, beheaded them and threw out their bodies.

“After putting them on trial in Mosul, the militants beheaded them,” added Mamuzini.

He said that the women were Arabs and were arrested about a month ago on charges of acting against the religion of Islam.

“This is not the first time these things has been done by IS - they have done a lot of similar things in Mosul and the surrounding areas,” revealed Mamuzini.

These revelations come after the Kurdistan Regional Government said that a special team from the United Nations (UN) will come to the region to investigate the violations by militants in Northern Iraq and especially Mosul.
