(Times of Israel) The mortar shell that killed a four-year-old boy in the Sha’ar Hanegev region this evening was launched from a school run by UNRWA in the Shejajiah neighborhood in Gaza City, security officials say, according to Ynet.

The four-year-old boy killed this evening by a mortar shell fired from Gaza into a kibbutz in the Sha’ar Hanegev region is named as Daniel Turgerman.
His family had recently returned to their home, after having left for the majority of Operation Protective Edge, which was launched on July 8.
