(ANKARA) The Turkish government has just released information that a two week operation against Kurds in the town of Semdinli has resulted in 115 Kurds killed. The Turkish interior minister Idris Naim Sahin said the rebels were killed in an air power backed offensive near the town of Semdinli, in Hakkari province which sits on the border with Iraq. He said the offensive began on July 23.
