(Hyderabad) 22-year-old Raheela Sehto really offended her family when she married 30-year-old Zulfiqar Sehto without asking their permission. Oh, they were offended, but as a middle class family in Pakistan, they decided to resort to the courts rather than a gun in which to get their daughter back. The thing is, Raheela was happy, and as such she had no wish to return back to the family fold and marry somebody who was picked for her.
So they all found themselves in court with the happy couple fighting charges that Zulifiqar had kidnapped her. That is until her brother Shaikh (a lawyer) pulled out a gun, which he had smuggled through 2 security barriers, and shot his sister dead.
As is the way of the Islamic bigot, he instantly surrendered to the police and started that his own defence based purely on the fact he had lost his mind.
Which, funny enough, is all you need to excuse your actions when it comes to killing your own in any Islamic country.
