US oil company Nobel Energy set to piss off Argentina

(Falklands) Hot after pissing off the Turks, the Egyptians, the Lebanese and the Syrians with finding oil off the coast of Israel, the US oil firm Noble Energy looks set to do the same with the Argentine government after signing a deal with the Falkland Islands to take over the running of their fledgling oil business.

Expect a hissy fit from the Kirchner government very soon. The thing with a number of South American countries is they are crooked, which is why after selling off all their assets to foreign companies, they renationalised them all, claiming that they actually belong to the people. Which is why oil investment in Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador and Venezuela has fallen by the wayside.
