2012 Olympic Games

(London) As I live in the UK, I've been spending a bit of time following the Olympics not only on TV but on the media. Meanwhile, the left have been having a field day.

First of all, they have been bitching about the money spent on the games. Then they bemoaned how after 1 day, the UK hadn't won any medals. Then, after a rush of Golds, they have been spreading the message that the only reason the UK has been wining golds is down to... private schooling, and how this is so wrong, and that we should have more public school children taking part. The thing is, out of the 542 athletes who make up team GB, The Sunday Telegraph reveals:
Team GB is made up of 542 athletes. Of the 440 for whom The Sunday Telegraph was able to determine their place of education, 88 (20 per cent) went to independent schools compared to 300 (68 per cent) who were state-educated. Fifty-two (12 per cent) were educated abroad.
Hang on, the left and liberals claim otherwise. But why bother with facts when you can lie out of your back-teeth in which to hate anything and everything about your country.

But what really stuck me was how during the medal ceremonies today, where the UK had won gold, was how the crowds stuck two fingers up to the ethical latte crowd and joined in by singing to the British National Anthem. Oh how the liberals must be hating every minute of this. No doubt numerous articles will be written of how British nationalism is so ugly.

What is it about the left where they support anybody and everybody bar their own?

Me? I cried a good one when I heard the crowds singing the national anthem.
