(France) Well, after the media in the UK went into overdrive in how the spate of shootings in France this past week had to be the work of a white Neo-Nazis, it transpires that the gunman is a Muslim, that he is called Mohammed and that he broke out of a jail in Afghanistan in 2008.
Police managed to trace Mohammed by following the e-mail he sent to his first victim, French paratrooper Imad Ibn-Ziaten who was lured to a meeting with the suspect after advertising his own scooter for sale. In typical Keystone Cop fashion, the French police knocked on his door at 3 am this morning in which to arrest him, and in reply Mohammed let rip through the door, shooting three policemen.
Currently, there is a stand-off, with Mohammed being allowed to vent his spline to the media ("I did it to avenge the deaths of Palestinian children", the involvement of French troops in Afghanistan, etc...) He has stated he will free himself after lunch (French time) today. However, he is still ensconced inside his family's council house, trying, I presume, to upload his videos (he taped his killings) to YouTube.
Meanwhile in the UK, the bBC have found somebody to claim that this man gives Muslims a bad name and disrespects Islam with his evil deeds, and they even have a quote from the Palestinian President (no less) saying that killing children is a crime against humanity.
