The rising World Trade Center towers look awesome regardless of the cloudy day.

The sun comes out and you can see the cranes at the top of Tower 1.

Inside the St. Paul's Chapel. One of the earliest oil-on-canvas depictions of the US Seal (late 18th century).

The canvas in hung directly above the George Washington's personal pew.

The St. Paul's Chapel is also a memorial to the 9/11 first responders. Here are firefighters' shoulder patches sent from around the world.

In the aftermath of 9/11, the Chapel housed first responders.

Zuccotti Park, the scene of the recent bacchanalia of crime and socialism. Now liberated, freshly cleaned and cordoned off, with police officers all around the perimeter.

There were only two protesters on the outside.

This guy was mumbling something about the evil 1%.

And this creepy looking woman with an absolutely incoherent message written on a sheet of paper was trying to sell some anti-Wall Street rap CDs to passers by, advertising them in a hissy voice. Not the best example of marketing in my opinion.

Historic Fraunces Tavern, where “[a]fter British troops evacuated New York, the tavern hosted an elaborate "turtle feast" dinner on December 4, 1783 in the building's Long Room for U.S. Gen. George Washington where he bade farewell to his officers of the Continental Army by saying "[w]ith a heart full of love and gratitude, I now take leave of you. I most devoutly wish that your latter days may be as prosperous and happy as your former ones have been glorious and honorable."”
