London rally to defend free expression

From our friend reporting from London:
There was a rally held in London last week to stand up to Islamist intimidation! It was a response to this:
First, UCL's atheist society were told by their student union to remove a cartoon from their Facebook page when it offended Muslims; Rhys Morgan was threatened with death and expulsion from his school when he blogged about this and reposted the image; at Queen Mary, a group of Muslims invaded a discussion on Sharia law, telling organisers and audience members they'd be hunted down for insulting the prophet.
Around 200 people were there, with signs like "ISLAM OFFENDS WOMEN", "FREEDOM TO CRITICISE ISLAM", and "END RACISM AND CULTURAL RELATIVISM".

See my photos here.

Videos of some of the talks here.

Surprisingly, there was no counter-demonstration that I noticed.

Also surprisingly, many of them were leftists (including one hardcore feminist who complained about corporations). Maybe they're starting to catch on?
