(England) Currently in the UK, there is a huge court case concerning 47 Islamic males who are in the dock over the grooming of girls between the ages of 13 and 15 for sexual gratification. Anyway, it seems that after years of hearing many stories like this, the non-Islamic population in the town of Rochdale have said enough is enough and rioted outside the takeaway cafe used by these men as the centre of their operation. Up to 200 people went on the rampage and attacked both police and Islamic-run businesses. But I have to admit, even I was taken aback by how the bBC finished off their version of events by allowing the Islamic pressure group 'The Ramadan Foundation' to have the last word. I quote:
The Ramadhan Foundation, which is based in Greater Manchester, has condemned the events. Chief executive Mohammed Shafiq said: "The mindless thugs that attacked [the takeaway] and attacked the police should be ashamed of themselves, furthermore the community must allow the due process of law to be carried out.
"Mob rule or vigilantism is not the way we conduct ourselves in this country."So a member of a faith which has no problem violently protesting when things don't go their way, has the brass neck to come out with:
"Mob rule or vigilantism is not the way we conduct ourselves in this country."Priceless or what?
