(London) Five men were arrested Monday on suspicion of terrorism offences following raids across the Uk: Those arrested were:
- A 21-year-old in Manchester on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism
- A 19-year-old man in Peterborough on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism
- A 23-year-old and a 22-year-old in north London on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism
- A 19-year old man in Peterborough on suspicion of encouraging terrorism.
The men remain in custody and searches are being
carried out across the three cities as part of a pre-planned operation.
