(England) What is it with Pakistani Muslims and raping little girls in the UK?
Today, a court case started in Sheffield where 5 Pakistani Muslims aged from 36 to 21 groomed a 13-year-old girl and then used her as a sex toy all over Yorkshire. The child was passed around these men who raped her in hotel rooms and private flats last August.
In the dock are Mohammed Shapal, 22, and Shakeal Rehman, 26, from Bradford, West Yorkshire, and Usman Ali, 21, Bekir Rasheed, 36, and Yaseen Amini, 36, who are accused of trafficking the 13-year-old child and taking it in turns to abuse her after she ran away from home.
The court heard how the youngster, who had only just turned 13, ended up in Bradford where she was befriended by a gang of men. She was taken to a hotel where it is alleged one of them - Shakeal Rehman, aged 26, pinned her down and raped her. The same night another man, Mohammed Shapal, aged 22, told the vulnerable girl he loved her before having sex with her.
Mr Storey said the next day a third man, Usman Ali, 21, picked up the girl in his car, and he too had sex with her.
Two days later, it is alleged, Yaseen Amini, aged 36, and Bekir Rasheed, 36, both had sex with the girl as well, at a party.
Rehman denies rape and trafficking. Shapal denies sexual activity with a child and trafficking. Ali denies sexual activity with a child. Amini denies sexual activity with a child and trafficking. Rasheed denies trafficking.
The trial continues.
