Sudan caught supplying weapons to Libyan rebels: Sudanese military attache expelled

(Tripoli) On Thursday, a cargo plane was caught on radar entering Libya from Sudan bound for Tripoli airport. On landing at the desert airstrip of Kufra airport (near the Sudanese/Libyan border), the plane was found to be stocked to the gills with arms and ammunition. The pro-Libyan rebel Sudanese government has confirmed it sent the military cargo plane but said it had only carried equipment for a joint Libyan-Sudanese state border force.

The Libyans were having none of this and expelled the Sudanese military attache.
