(London) Borehamwood can be found in North London. It is a predominately Jewish area (I know, I used to live in Mill Hill), and watching the locals dressed in their finest on a Saturday walking everywhere is seen as normal. Can you imagine the outcry if this was a Muslim denied entry to any location in the UK?
To that end, I wonder what the first name of the security guard was? Mohamed, perhaps?
