Mother leaves Islam, father shoots 7-year-old daughter in head, then himself

(England) 45-year-old Egyptian Yasser Alromisse never got over how his English wife left him and Islam after he was banned by the courts from being alone with either his autistic stepson or his own daughter. His ex-wife moved lock, stock and barrel to another part of the country to get away from him. That is until last week when he turned up at the family home in Northiam, Sussex, pulled a gun and shot his 7-year-old daughter twice in the head. He then went back to his car and shot himself dead. It seems that Yasser was fighting a losing battle to win custody of his 7-year-old daughter, based entirely on the fact that his ex-wife had rejected Islam.

What is it about Islam that allows men to target their children so as to abuse, intimidate and bully their former love ones back into their possessive arms?
