Israel and Hamas extend ceasefire

(Cairo) Well, it seems that cooler heads are in force in Gaza. Seeing as the leaders of Hamas have agreed to extend the current ceasefire which is meant to run out in a few hours, I wonder if the reason for this has more to do with how the border with Egypt is closed, Hamas has something of a resupply issue, or because Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Monday that Israel will hit back hard if Palestinian rocket attacks from Gaza resume.

I have to admit, while Muslims and liberals in the West are still foaming at the mouth over how Hamas took a real beating for a war they started, the Arabs as a whole have said nothing.
