ISIS executes 700 from one tribe which dared to stand up to it

(Syria) When the ISIS advance steamrolled into the catchment area of the al-Sheitaat tribe in Syria, they gave the locals 3 days to leave. In order to send that message home, they executed 300 men on the spot in the town of Ghraneij. On realising their fate, the rest of the tribe took to arms while the sick, lame and lazy retreated to safety. Unfortunately for the al-Sheitaat tribe, they lost, and another 400 were killed during the fight to defend their homeland. The thing is, the vast majority of victims were beheaded.
