(C.A.R) A peace accord between Islamic rebels who overran the Central African Republic and the majority Christian anti-Balaka militia signed on the 23rd of July in Congo has fallen by the wayside after the Seleka rebels refused to disarm and instead attacked the French peacekeeping troops en masse.
The problem for the Seleka was, these weren't harmless women and children they attacked, and in the ensuring gunfight, 53 of their own were sent packing to that great mosque in the ground, while the peace keeping forces lost 3 African troops.
