(Syria) Today the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights director Rami Abdel Rahman informed the world that at least 4,420 people were killed in Syria violence during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, some two thirds of them fighters on both sides. In order to account for this new information, we (Watcher and I) have gone back through to the 30th of June in which to tally up the Syrian death count, and the number of people we have recorded as killed in Syria since then (a week before Ramadan, just to be sure) comes in at 2,839. What this means is, we are adding 1,581 to our total figure from yesterday (makes 4,420) in which to come to a new total figure.
Ramadan 2013 death toll is now at 6,625.
