(West Bank) A Palestinian woman waited until her 16-year-old daughter went to bed, then strangled her to death because her neighbours had mentioned that their son had her photo on his mobile phone. Next day, they went to the police and claimed that the girl had died in her sleep. However, doctors noticed the marks around her neck and then the mother opened up and claimed she did it so as to restore her family's honour. And... checks made on the dead girl's body revealed that she was a virgin.
