Argentine President says South America will find peace in the Middle East

(Buenos Aires) It seems that crying about how the Falklands should belong to Argentina at the UN has emboldened the Argentine President to try her hand at resolving another crisis about the so called stolen land.

Speaking from the Presidential Palace, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, said her country intends to spearhead the increased involvement of Latin American states in the Mideast peace process.

Let's see. Would that be the same Argentina which invaded the Falklands in 1982, lost big time and still feels it has a right to the islands now that oil has been found there? Let's not leave Hugo Chavez, the leader (for life???) of Venezuela who in line with the teachings of the holy Koran has made it clear that he feels the Jew cannot be trusted. I quote from 2010:
“Israel is financing the Venezuelan opposition. There are even groups of Israeli terrorists, of the Mossad, who are after me trying to kill me,”
after which he cut all ties between Venezuela and Israel. Funny enough, this act was mirrored by Ecuador, Bolivia and Nicaragua, all of whom have recently become very friendly with Iran.

Let's not forget how in 2010, Argentina and Uruguay announced that they intend to join Brazil in recognizing an independent Palestinian state. Other Latin American states that recognize a Palestinian state include Chile, Bolivia and Ecuador.

Anybody else get the feeling that the South Americans have a hidden agenda with Israel?
