14 Christian children run over and killed in Nigeria

(Nigeria) Every Saturday morning children from the Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Guide from three local churches in Barakin-Ladi LGA, Plateau State, go for a run at 7am. This Saturday was no different, except for the fact that a speeding lorry just happened to career into them as they ran past, killing 14 and injuring 10. The driver then got out of the truck and legged it. Accident? Maybe. But the fact remains that Plateau State is in the middle of the country and it is where the Northern Islamic half meets the Christian Southern half, and as such is the front line for the official war that Muslims have declared on Christians. Boko Haram is on record for saying after murdering 100 people last year in Jos:
“Thanked God for the success of the attacks” and vowed that there was no going back on the jihad (Holy War) it had launched against Christians and the government. It also asked “Christians in Nigeria to accept Islam” as a condition for a ceasefire.
So, armed with that information, what makes you think that the above runaway truck, wasn't actually a runaway? However, due to the fact that I can't attribute this to anybody (yet), I have refrained from adding it to our Ramadan Death Toll.
