Syrian Jets, Chasing Rebels, Fire Into Lebanon

Is the UN calling any security council meetings on it yet?

The Lebanese government is being quiet about it and has even claimed that the land where the missiles hit was actually Syrian.

To complain would lead to a rage that no KFC or US embassy would be able to placate.
BEIRUT (WSJ) — Syrian warplanes fired missiles into Lebanese territory on Monday, heightening the potential for neighboring countries to be pulled into Syria's 18-month long struggle.

Such spillover has rocked the delicate political balance in Lebanon, where rival sectarian political forces have thrown their support behind opposing sides in Syria's civil war.

"As conditions deteriorate, we see dangerous implications for Syria's neighbors," Robert Serry, the United Nations special coordinator for the Middle East peace process, told the U.N. Security Council on Monday.
