Huge explosion engulfs Iranian city

(Qazvin) A huge explosion has been reported from Qazvin, a city of 1.1 million people situated around 80 miles north west of Tehran.

While the semiofficial Fars news agency initially said an explosion had gone off in a wood and oil storage facility, injuring nearly 50 people (Fars also said police had closed off roads to the area where the explosion took place), the mayor of Qazvin, Masoud Nosrati, denied those earlier reports that there had been an explosion at the site. He also said firefighters had contained the blaze and that nobody had been hurt.

So there you have it - nothing happened, nobody saw it happen and nobody got hurt.
