Boston Marathon Bomber Lawyers Complain Jury is Too White

Which is downright racist, as his lawyers are suggesting that blacks might be more sympathetic to terrorists blowing up whitey.
(FPM) If only they could get that all-Muslim jury they obviously have their hearts set on. Then their murdering client might have a shot.
Suggesting blacks, young and old people will be grievously underrepresented in favor of white, middle-aged faces when a jury is picked Tuesday, lawyers for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev filed papers this morning asking yet again that his trial be stopped from going forward next week and the 30-count indictment for which he faces death be dismissed.

With opening statements in the nearly 2-year-old case now just six days away, the accused Boston Marathon bomber’s defense team wants the jury wheel that led to the random selection of 1,373 possible jurors “reconstituted” and the process started all over again so the jury’s makeup fairly represents a cross-section of the state.

Among the attorneys’ contentions are that white prospective jurors summonsed in early January to fill out 27-page screening questionnaires were moved up in order “based on non-random factors such as arrival time,” and black and young jurors fell behind in the numerical assignment process.
Of course white people were also overrepresented among the victims of Dzhokar’s murderous killing spree in the name of Islam. It seems fitting that they should also be overrepresented on the jury that locks him up for life.

Queers Against Israeli Apartheid disbanding

Are there any people on Earth dumber than homosexuals who support Islamists? Illiteracy must be a prerequisite for joining.
(National Post) Queers Against Israeli Apartheid, the group whose participation in the annual Toronto Pride Parade was a continued source of contention, is disbanding.

In a Thursday post to its website, the group said its “activist energies” had been stretched in too many directions for the organization to “continue in its current form.”

As such, it will “officially retire at the end of the month.”

3 times over the limit, Asif walks free from court after informing judge he has re-found his Muslim faith

(England) 40-year-old Asif Masood borrowed a friend’s car in Nottingham last November. The thing is, he also had a lot to drink. So, as you can guess, when he arrived at a roundabout, his judgement was kind of impaired. Which is why he ended up driving over it and hitting a fire hydrant. When the police arrived, he explained to them:
'I've crashed my car, I've had lots and lots to drink and I don't have a driving licence.'
He was breathalysed and produced a reading of 98 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit is 35.

But get this. Masood, who has nine previous convictions for 14 offences, walked free from court after magistrates heard he had re-found his faith and was now teetotal after quitting drink and drugs.

So much for Muslims not being allowed to go anywhere near alcohol, and so much for British justice.

Spain breaks up online network recruiting young women for ISIS

One of four people suspected of using Internet platforms to recruit young women to join the Islamic State group

Madrid (AFP) - Spain said Tuesday it had broken up an online network accused of recruiting young women to join Islamic State militants fighting in Iraq and Syria and arrested four suspects.

The early morning arrests came as European nations scramble to halt a surge in young people wanting to travelling to Iraq and Syria to fight with the jihadists.

Two of the suspects were arrested in Melilla, the Spanish enclave neighbouring Morocco, in the latest operation by Spain's authorities targeting such recruiting networks.

The others were detained in Girona and Barcelona in Spain's northeastern region of Catalonia.

The two detained in Melilla were said to be behind the creation and operation of several Internet platforms spreading propaganda, particularly for the Islamic State group, the interior ministry said in a statement.

"In line with the strategy of the Daesh terrorist group, they focused on the recruitment of women who, after a process of indoctrination, would end up joining the terrorist group in conflict zones," it said, using the Arabic name for IS.

The ministry said private home visits were also organised for recruiting purposes and a number of young people had begun preparations to travel to war zones.

One of those arrested ran a "virtual community" with Islamic State propaganda and more than 1,000 subscribers, it said.

He had a "multitude of subscribers" outside Spain on Facebook, including Latin America and countries such as Belgium, France, Morocco, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Turkey and the United States, the statement said.

One of the suspects arrested in Spain's northeast was described as an Islamic State sympathiser-turned-propagandist with the profile of a "lone wolf" who acted alone.

The other was said to have edited and distributed videos to recruit potential jihadists.

The authorities were working to establish links between the two in Melilla and those in Spain's northeast.

Mohammed in court for advert which offers £1000 for anybody who beheads man who robbed local mosque

(England) 26-year-old Mohammed Bashir was offended when somebody decided to break into and rob the local mosque. So he knocked out an advert containing video clips of the man in question and offered £1000 to anybody who would catch and behead this person.

However, Mohammed was reported to the police who arrested him and gave him a date to attend court. Well, guess what, as this is England where Muslims can do as they please, the court believed his excuse that he was high on drugs, and so he walked free from court with a £145 fine and 60 hours of unpaid work (which in the UK means nothing will happen if he doesn't carry it out).

Funny enough, the mosque had this to say on its Facebook page after Mohammed was caught:
“Please be careful with what you say on Facebook, Twitter etc. regarding what happened today/last night at the masjid about the robbery.

“Please don’t make threats about the person online as it could cause complications in the case.
Welcome to the Islamic republic of England where ripping up a Koran gets you jailed but putting out a contract to behead somebody doesn't.

#RealIslam: ISIS jihadists kidnap at least 90 people from Christian villages in Syria

Panic spreads across Christian villages.
(Daily Mail) Islamic State militants have kidnapped at least 90 people after sweeping through Christian villages in Syria, it has been revealed.

The abductions are said to have taken place after ISIS seized two Assyrian communities from Kurdish forces in the northeast province of Hassakeh.

Dawn raids on Monday are said to have spread 'panic' in the villages, inhabited by the ancient Christian minority along the banks of the Khabur River near the town of Tel Hmar.

#RealIslam: Saudi Arabia sentences man to death for apostasy

(Daily Mail) An Islamic court in Saudi Arabia has sentenced a man to death for renouncing his Muslim faith and posting a video on a social media site which shows him ripping up the Koran before hitting it with his shoe.

The unnamed man in his 20s, from Hafr-Al-Batin, posted a video on social media site Keek which allegedly shows him ripping up Islam's holy book and hitting it with a shoe.

He has now been sentenced to death for denouncing his Muslim faith and 'various other acts of blasphemy.'

A source who was in the General Court during his hearing said: 'In the video he cursed God, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his daughter Fatimah and ripped a copy of the Holy Qur'an and hit it with a shoe.

'The death sentence was issued after his apostasy was proven,' the English-language daily Saudi Gazette reported today.

The Hafr Al-Batin branch of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice arrested the man last year and his case was forwarded to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution.

Saudi Arabia follows a strict school of Islam and gives the clergy control over its justice system.

Under its interpretation of Sharia, apostasy demands the death penalty - as does other religious offences like sorcery - while blasphemy and criticism of senior Muslim clerics have incurred jail terms and corporal punishment.

Executions in Saudi Arabia are usually carried out by public beheading.

#RealIslam: ISIS Bombs Mosul Public Library, Burns 8,000 Rare Books and Manuscripts

(The Fiscal Times) While the world was watching the Academy Awards ceremony, the people of Mosul were watching a different show. They were horrified to see ISIS members burn the Mosul public library. Among the many thousands of books it housed, more than 8,000 rare old books and manuscripts were burned.

“ISIS militants bombed the Mosul Public Library. They used improvised explosive devices,” said Ghanim al-Ta'an, the director of the library. Notables in Mosul tried to persuade ISIS members to spare the library, but they failed.

US jury: Palestinian authorities liable for Israeli terror attacks, $218.5M in damages awarded

NEW YORK (AP) – The Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority were the catalysts for a series of terrorist attacks in the early 2000s in Israel that killed or wounded several Americans, a U.S. jury found Monday at a high-stakes civil trial.

In finding the Palestinian authorities liable in the attacks, jurors awarded the victims $218.5 million in damages for the bloodshed. The U.S. Anti-Terrorism Act could allow for that to be tripled.

The case in Manhattan and another in Brooklyn have been viewed as the most notable attempts by American victims of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict to use U.S. courts to seek damages that could reach into the billions of dollars.

NYT adds:
The damages are to be $655.5 million, under a special terrorism law that provides for tripling the $218.5 million awarded by the jury in Federal District Court.

Iran: Obama Desperate for Nuclear Deal; France: We Will Never Accept Nuclear Iran

GENEVA (AP) — The United States and Iran are shaping the contours of a deal that would initially freeze Tehran's nuclear program but would allow it to slowly ramp up activities that could be used to make nuclear arms over the last years of the agreement's duration.
That's all he really cares about - a piece of paper for his legacy.
(Weekly Standard) How are the ongoing nuclear negotiations between the U.S. and Iran playing out in the Iranian press? Well, the U.S. is being portrayed as desperate.

In an article by Press TV, an Iranian propaganda organ, the headline reads, "Obama ‘under pressure’ to reach nuclear agreement with Iran: Analyst."
US President Barack Obama is “under pressure” to reach an agreement with Iran over Tehran’s nuclear energy program, an American foreign policy analyst says.

“It’s quite obvious to everyone that Mr. Obama would like to have a deal with Iran,” said James George Jatras, a former US diplomat and adviser to the Senate Republican leadership.

“He’s under a lot of pressure to try to bring negotiations to a conclusion that he can defend domestically,” Jatras said Sunday during a phone interview with Press TV.

“I doubt very much that the United States would walk away from the negotiations because this is such a strong priority for Mr. Obama who otherwise has very little to show in the realm of foreign policy,” he added.

US Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif began a new round of talks in Geneva on Tehran’s nuclear program on Sunday.

Swedish TV's 'Islamophobia' Expert Leaves to Join ISIS

Yeah he's going to Iraq for job opportunities. You just can't make this up.
(Speisa) The Swedish convert Michael Skråmo, 29, in 2009, were SVT's expert on Islamophobia.

The Muslim the convert Michael Skråmo, in 2009 were invited to SVT, where he told Swedish viewers how Muslim phobia (Islamophobia) and hatred was spread around Europe. Now he has traveled to Syria with his wife and children to wage war for the brutal terrorist organization Islamic state.

The 29-year-old Swede, who today calls himself "Abdul Samad al Swedi", grew up in Gothenburg. He converted to Islam during a field trip to Egypt about ten years ago and has since been engaged in a series of tax-funded Muslim organizations.

Last fall, he decided to go a step further with his faith. Skråmo took his wife and four small children and traveled to Syria to fight for the terror group IS, engaged in genocide, mass rape and commit other types of bestial abuse of non-Muslim minorities in the region.

In pictures published on Facebook the 29-year-old is posing with AK-47s, and in a propaganda video he sits outside the Syrian city Kobane and calls upon all Muslims in Sweden to follow his example and join him in armed jihad.

- We need you to come down here and give support to the religion of Allah, Skråmo says in the video.

Previously, the Swede have been heavily involved to counter what he described as a misleading picture of Muslims as violent fanatics. In an episode of SVT debate, which can be seen on Youtube, he attacked the malicious picture of Muslims spread in Europe.

- This fear is based on ignorance of Islam, Michael Skråmo said, only to prove all the critics right a few years later.

8-year-old girl suicide bomber kills 5, wounds dozens in northeast Nigeria

#RealIslam.
BAUCHI, Nigeria (Reuters) - A young girl with explosives strapped to her killed five people and wounded dozens at a security checkpoint outside a market in the northeast Nigerian town of Potiskum on Sunday, witnesses said.

"(She) refused to be checked at the gate to the market and an argument ensued," witness Ibrahim Maishago told Reuters by telephone. "She let off the bomb, killing herself and five others, while many were injured."

No one claimed responsibility for the bombing, which bore the hallmarks of Islamist militant group Boko Haram. The insurgents have suffered a string of defeats in a military offensive by Nigeria and neighbours Cameroon, Niger and Chad.

Resident Bala Potiskum said he saw dozens of wounded being rushed to hospital after the blast.

Both witnesses described the bomber as a "small girl", estimating that she could not have been more than eight years old.

Terrorist stabbing attack in Jerusalem, mayor Barkat and bodyguard catch the Arab attacker

(INN) A haredi Jewish man was stabbed at Jerusalem's Tzahal Square Sunday, and his condition is moderate. He was receiving treatment from an MDA team before evacuation to hospital.

The man was reportedly stabbed in the stomach.

The stabber, an 18-year-old Arab, was caught by a security guard from nearby Municipal Hall, who held on to him until police arrived.

Mayor Nir Barkat was present on the scene. He said that he and his bodyguard spotted the terrorist and that they both jumped on him. Once they had him under control, they saw that he had stabbed and wounded a man.

A terrorist stabbing attack took place a month ago on a bus in central Tel Aviv, on Begin Road, near Beit Maariv. The terrorist was an Arab man, reportedly from Samaria.

Twelve people were wounded in the stabbing, with 17 receiving treatment from Magen David Adom (MDA). Three were in serious condition, four in moderate condition and five who sustained light injuries. Another seven people were treated for shock

An eyewitness told IDF Radio that two of the wounded were very seriously hurt, having been stabbed "in the brain (and) in the neck."

Italy prepares for 9/11-style suicide attack as jihadists are now in possession of 11 jetliners

(Examiner) In the wake of Islamic Jihadists almost completely overrunning Libya, the same terrorists have threatened to attack the nearest European nation, specifically, the Italian Republic. As reported by the Breitbart.com news portal on Feb. 19, 2015, the descendants of the Roman Empire are preparing for the distinct possibly of a 9/11 redux, complete with stolen jetliners.

As the Italian Secret Service warned the military that commandeered civilian jetliners were being "prepared" for a mission that the Italians have so far kept from the public. As reported, an undisclosed number of aircraft are being readied in the coastal city of Sirte, a rather short distance of 450 miles to Palermo, or 700 miles to Rome.

As Breitbart.com noted on Feb. 15, 2015, in an ISIS released video that featured the brutal slaying of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians, the spokesman of killers plainly said to the camera, "And we will conquer Rome, by Allah's permission, the promise of our Prophet, peace be upon him."

While our Italian NATO allies are fully aware of the "asymmetric" capabilities of the terrorists to launch "both military and terrorist campaigns," the Forze Armate Italiane aren't taking any chances. Reportedly, the Italian air defense system went into high alert after the notification by the Secret Service that the terrorists were preparing for something big.

At least 35 Egyptians have been kidnapped at various locations in Libya by ISIS

(Breaking911) The Libya Herald reported that starting this morning, in the wake of the attack on Derna by warplanes from Egypt, Egyptian nationals, many of them it seems farm workers, have been picked up by gunmen.

The first reports were that seven men had been seized, but by mid-afternoon, it was being said that at least 35 had been reported missing.

This comes after ISIS released a video showing the beheading of 21 Coptic Christians from Egypt. That video can be seen here.

Obama's foreign policy success: A fleet of cars carrying ISIS flags parade freely through the Libyan city of Benghazi

#RealIslam: Hezbollah leader denounces mass beheading, says Israel’s Mossad, CIA behind ISIS

Makes you wonder whether Nasrallah and Obama have the same speechwriter.
The leader of Lebanon’s Hezbollah group has strongly denounced the Islamic State group’s beheading of a group of Egyptian Christian hostages in Libya.

In a speech to hundreds of his supporters in southern Beirut Monday, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah says the CIA and Israel’s Mossad are behind the extremist group, which serves their interests.

He claims Israel is the only country which has not been affected and does not consider the group a threat.

The Iranian-backed Shiite Hezbollah group, which has sent thousands of its fighters to Syria to help shore up President Bashar Assad’s forces, has positioned itself as a vanguard against Sunni extremists such as the Islamic State group.

Nasrallah called on regional governments to work together to confront IS, whose crimes “are a threat to the entire universe.”

#RealIslam: ISIS jihadists burn to death 45 people in Iraq

(WT) Terrorists with the Islamic State have burned to death 45 people from the town of al-Baghdadi in the western portion of Iraq, a local police official said Tuesday.

It’s not clear why these people were targeted, but some were part of the local security force, Col. Qasim al-Obeidi told the BBC.

One of the compounds that houses the families of security officials came under attack by Islamic State terrorists, too, Mr. Obeidi said, the news outlet reported.

The terror group captured the town, located near Ain al-Asad air base, a week ago. Islamic State terrorists caused international outrage by burning to death a Jordanian pilot and posting the video of the atrocity online.

‘Crusader’ beheadings

(NYP) If nothing else, the Islamic State’s gruesome beheading of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians should put the lie to the claim that the Israeli-Palestinian dispute lies at the heart of the Middle East’s problems.

The terrorist who presided over these beheadings didn’t complain about Israel. Instead, he called the victims — migrant workers who’d gone to Libya seeking jobs — “followers of the Cross” and “Coptic crusaders.” Perhaps he imagined himself avenging the medieval Crusader wrongs President Obama recently invoked.

Nor was this the first time ISIS has targeted Middle Eastern Christians. In October 2010, it staged a massacre at a church in Baghdad, which it denounced as “a dirty den of idolatry,” killing 58 Chaldean Catholic worshipers. Other atrocities abound.

None of this is to suggest that Jews have vanished from the list of Islamist targets. The weekend attack on a Copenhagen synagogue, just weeks after a similar brutal attack on a kosher food store in Paris, underscores the growing vulnerability of Jews across Europe.

But as Grame Wood writes in The Atlantic, ISIS is an apocalyptic movement, out to destroy “moderns” and restore through a modern caliphate the 7th-century world in which Islam was founded. It takes its religious claims seriously.

So while the president and his secretary of state John Kerry obsessed over an Israeli-Palestinian accord, the Islamic State took territory and declared a caliphate.

Good thing for the defenseless folks in ISIS’ path that Egypt and Jordan, which responded to atrocities with airstrikes, aren’t afraid to get on their “high horse” and attack.

Islamic rapist released from prison murders parents, then kills himself

(London) 30-year-old Moroccan Ashraf Amrani was released from prison after serving a 7-year sentence for rape (the fact he was jailed in 2010, is besides the point). It transpires that on his release, he set up shop with his parents who, as devout Muslims, weren't happy having a rapist living under their roof. Last week, police were called to an altercation at the family home but didn't enter the home after Ashraf barred them from entering. That was Thursday. On Friday, police were called to the area again after a dead body was found on the roof of a nearby home. On recognising Ashraf, they proceeded to his parents' flat in which to inform them, only to find that 59-year-old Zohra and her husband, 72-year-old Hassan Amrani, were murdered.

I wonder if the police had done their job correctly the day before would these 2 people be still alive.

USAid groups in Gaza shut down in protest at Chapel Hill killings

(Gaza) Over the years I've become somewhat accustomed to the duplicity of the faithful. Which is why I wasn't surprised to hear about how USAid groups based in Gaza were closed down today in which to protest the media blackout regards the shooting dead of 3 Muslims in the US over a parking dispute.

Yes, after a weekend when 21 Christians were beheaded for Allah, when a bomb was detonated inside a Shia mosque in Pakistan, when an Islamic gunman went on the rampage in Denmark, the Muslims inside Gaza decided that they had to teach the nasty Americans who fund their military campaign against the Jews a lesson in the right to a free and liberal media by expressing their right to a freedom of expression.

However, as Gazans don't have any other form of income other than aid, this close down only lasted a couple of hours.

Now, has anybody ever seen a protest by Muslims against the idiots who kill in their name on a daily basis?

Denmark's prime minister: 'An attack on the Jewish community is an attack on Denmark'

#RealIslam: 10 hours of fear and loathing in Paris while walking as a Jew

One month after the terrorist attack on a kosher supermarket in Paris, NRG's correspondent, wearing a tzitzit and a kippa, took what proved to be an intimidating walk across the French capital. "What is he doing here Mommy? Doesn’t he know he will be killed?" one little boy asked, saying it all

PARIS (NRG) - "Go f*** from the front and the back," "Viva Palestine," "Hey you, with the kippa, what are you doing here?" these were only a few of the remarks sent my way as I was walking through the streets of Paris wearing a tzitzit and a kippa.

Welcome to Paris 2015, where soldiers are walking every street that houses a Jewish institution, and where keffiyeh-wearing men and veiled women speak Arabic on every street corner. Walking down one Parisian suburb, I was asked what I doing there. In modern-day Paris, you see, Jews are barred from entering certain areas.

About six months ago, New Yorker Shoshana Roberts uploaded a video to YouTube in which she documented the sexist remarks and harassment she suffered during 10 hours of walking down the streets of the Big Apple. After the Jan. 9 attack on a kosher supermarket in Paris, where four people were murdered for the sole reason of being Jewish, we decided to see what it was like for a Jew living in the City of Lights.

For 10 hours I quietly walked down the streets and suburbs of Paris, with photographer Dov Belhassen documenting the day using a GoPro camera hidden in his backpack. Given the tensions in Paris, which is still reeling from a wave of terrorist attacks (including the murder of Charlie Hebdo magazine journalists), I was assigned a bodyguard.

In zero-degree weather, thousands of Frenchmen braved the cold wind on their way to just another day at the office. We started walking – first through the quieter quarters of the city, across from the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-ֹlysיes, and the Jewish neighborhoods, and later through the mostly Muslim neighborhoods.

Areas known as tourist attractions were relatively calm, but the further from them we walked, the more anxious I became over the hateful stares, the belligerent remarks, and the hostile body language.

At times it was like walking in downtown Ramallah. Most women were wearing a veil or a hijab, most men appeared to be Muslim, and Arabic was prevalent everywhere. We decided ahead of time that I was to walk through these areas quietly, without stopping anywhere, without speaking to anyone, without so much as looking sideways. My heart was pounding and negative thoughts were running through my head. I would be lying if I said I was not afraid.

"Just like Ramallah"

Walking into a public housing neighborhood, we came across a little boy and his hijab-clad mother, who were clearly shocked to see us. "What is he doing here Mommy? Doesn’t he know he will be killed?" the boy asked.

Walking by a school in one of Paris' neighborhoods, a boy shouted "Viva Palestine" at me. Moments later, passing by a group of teens, one of the girls remarked, "Look at that – it's the first time I've ever seen such a thing."

Walking down another neighborhood, a driver stopped his car and approached us. "We've been made," I thought. "What are you doing here?" he asked. "We've had reports that you were walking around our neighborhood – you're not from around here."

In one of the mostly-Muslim neighborhoods, we walked into an enclosed marketplace. "Look at him! He should be ashamed of himself. What is he doing walking in here wearing a kippa?!" one Muslim merchant yelled. "What do you care? He can do whatever he wants," another, seemingly unfazed merchant, answered. Over at a nearby street I was lambasted with expletives, mostly telling me to "go f*** from the front and the back."

At a nearby cafי, fingers were pointed at us, and moments later two thugs were waiting for us on the street corner. They swore at me, yelled "Jew" and spat at me. "I think we've been made," the photographer whispered at me. Two youths were waiting for us on the next street corner, as they had apparently heard that a Jew was walking around their neighborhood.

They made it clear to us that we had better get out of there, and we took their advice. "A few more minutes and this would have been a lynching," the bodyguard told me as we were getting into the car. "Leave this area right now."

Is this what life is like for Paris' Jews? Is this what a Jew goes through, day in and day out, while walking to work or using public transportation? The majority of French Jews do not flaunt their religion, as the Jewish community leaders have urged them to wear hats as they walk to and from work, or go bareheaded. But what about nighttime? Well, Jews prefers to stay inside in the evening. It is safer at home.

5 French teens arrested over desecration of 250 Jewish graves

Five teens ages 15 to 17 were arrested Monday for allegedly defacing hundreds of graves at a Jewish cemetery in Sarre-Union in northeastern France, close to the border with Germany, French prosecutor Philippe Vannier said.

The prosecutor, cited by the La Voix Du Nord newspaper, said a teenager went to a police station in Sarre-Union on Monday morning and confessed he had participated in the desecration of some 250 graves. He said he had challenged several other teenagers to participate.

“Everyone is saddened and disgusted by what happened ,” said Sarre-Union Mayor Marc Séné, as quoted by the newspaper. Many families who have relatives buried at the cemetery went down there on Monday to examine the extent of the damage, the mayor added.

On Sunday, President François Hollande condemned the incident as an “odious and barbaric” act and pledged to do everything needed to identify and punish those responsible as soon as possible. He is expected to visit the cemetery on Tuesday.

It appears Hamas and Fatah now go after each other

Nothing says "unity government" like coalition partners trying to blow each other up.

Copenhagen shooter identified as Palestinian; Europe scrambles to reassure Jews after Copenhagen attacks

An undated picture released by Copenghagen police in 2013 shows Omar El-Hussein, the man suspected of killing
two people in shootings in Copenhagen (AFP Photo)
Copenhagen (AFP) - European nations scrambled on Monday to reassure their Jewish communities after deadly attacks in Copenhagen that heightened fears of a new surge in anti-Semitic violence.

Flags were flying at half-mast across Denmark after the weekend shootings on a synagogue and a cultural centre that stunned one of the world's most peaceful nations.

The suspected Danish gunman, who was shot dead by police Sunday, was identified as a 22-year-old of Palestinian origin with a history of violent crime.

Two men were charged on Monday with aiding the gunman, named by the media as Omar El-Hussein, in his lone rampage in the Danish capital that left two people dead and five policemen wounded.

France, which was rocked by Islamist attacks last month that killed 17 people including four Jews, appealed for national unity to combat "Islamo-facism".

Danish intelligence said El-Hussein may have been inspired by the Paris attacks against a kosher supermarket and satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo that published cartoons mocking the Prophet Mohammed.

Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt pledged to protect Denmark's small Jewish community and urged them not to answer an Israeli call for Jews to flee Europe for the Jewish state.

"The Jewish community have been in this country for centuries. They belong in Denmark, they are part of the Danish community and we wouldn't be the same without the Jewish community in Denmark," she told reporters.

She vowed that Denmark would not be intimidated by the shootings, the deadliest such attack in the country of 5.5 million.

"This is a conflict between the core values of our society and violent extremists," she said. "I want to underline that this is not a conflict between Islam and the West. This is not a conflict between Muslims and non-Muslims."

The gunman was said by the media to have been released from prison just two weeks ago after serving a term for aggravated assault -- raising fears he may have become radicalised behind bars.

Two suspects were charged with helping him get rid of his weapon and giving him somewhere to hide, the lawyer of one of the men, Michael Juul Eriksen, told AFP.

Egypt bombs Islamic State targets in Libya after 21 Egyptians beheaded as Libya's PM calls for international strikes on Islamists

CAIRO (Reuters) - Egyptian jets bombed Islamic State targets in Libya on Monday, a day after the group there released a video showing the beheading of 21 Egyptian Christians, drawing Cairo directly into the conflict across its border.

Egypt said the dawn strike hit militant camps, training sites and weapons storage areas in neighbouring Libya, where civil conflict has plunged the country into near anarchy and created havens for armed factions.

While Cairo is believed to have provided clandestine support to a Libyan general fighting a rogue government in Tripoli, the mass killings pushed President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi into open action, expanding his battle against Islamist militancy.

Libya's air force also participated in Monday's attack on Derna -- an eastern coastal city seen as a base for Islamic State fighters in the oil-rich nation.

"There are casualties among individuals, ammunition and the (Islamic State) communication centres," Libyan air force commander Saqer al-Joroushi told Egyptian state television, adding that between 40 to 50 militants were killed.

It was not possible to confirm those numbers.

"More air strikes will be carried out today and tomorrow in coordination with Egypt," said Joroushi, who is loyal to Libya's internationally recognised government, which has set up camp in the eastern city of Tobruk after losing control of Tripoli.

BAYDA, Libya (Reuters) - Libya's internationally recognised prime minister called for the West to launch air strikes to defeat Islamist militants who control Tripoli and have driven his government out of the capital.

Speaking hours before Egypt bombed Islamic State targets in Libya in retaliation after militants said they had beheaded 21 Egyptian Christians, Prime Minister Abdullah al-Thinni made a plea for Western military intervention in a country rapidly slipping into chaos.

"We have absolutely confirmed information that al Qaeda and IS are in Tripoli and....near Ben Jawad," he said, referring to a central town controlled by a faction that supports a rival government.

"I ask world powers stand by Libya and launch military strikes against these groups," he said. "This threat will move to European countries, especially Italy."

#RealIslam: Hundreds of Jewish graves defaced with swastikas in France

Sarre-Union (France) (AFP) - France's interior minister said Sunday several hundred tombs had been defaced at a Jewish cemetery in the northeast of the country, in what he called "a despicable act".

"The country will not tolerate this new injury which goes against the values that all French people share," said Bernard Cazeneuve of the incident in the town of Sarre-Union in the Alsace region.

"Every effort will be made to identify, question and bring to justice the person or persons responsible for this despicable act," he added.

Police had cordoned off the isolated cemetery late Sunday as crime scene investigators were sent from Strasbourg to the site, an AFP correspondent reported.

"Around 300 tombs have been defaced," said a source close to the investigation, adding that there had been no reports of anything written on the tombstones.

The region's police and prosecutor came to the cemetery Sunday evening as well the chief rabbi of Strasbourg, Rene Gutman.

"It's an image of desolation," president of the Alsace region Philippe Richert told AFP, describing how Jewish steles, stone or wooden slabs often used for commemorative purposes, were knocked down and even some slabs at the gravesites had been lifted.

"One doesn't knock over heavy steles like that dating from the 19th century very easily. it was a deliberate act of destruction," he said.

French President Francois Hollande called the desecration an "odious and barbaric act" while Prime Minister Manuel Valls, writing on Twitter, described it as "anti-Semitic and ignoble".

It is not the first time that a Jewish cemetery in Sarre-Union has been targeted.

In 1988, around 60 Jewish steles were knocked over, and 54 tombs were wrecked in 2001.

News of the latest incident comes just over a month after an Islamist gunman shot dead four Jews in a kosher supermarket siege in Paris and less than 24 hours after a fatal shooting at a synagogue in Copenhagen.

"I am fed up of all these anti-Semitic acts, in their different forms that we saw on January 9 in France, yesterday in Copenhagen and today in Alsace," said Roger Cukierman, president of the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions of France.

Such "cowardly acts" showed a "lack of moral and ethical values" and was an illustration of a failure of France's national education system, he added.

In another incident in March 2012, a 23-year-old man, Mohamed Merah, shot dead three soldiers in Toulouse and Montauban, southern France, before killing three students and a teacher at a Jewish school in Toulouse.

Merah was later killed in a shootout following a siege at his apartment by French police.

Bahrain sends warplanes to Jordan to fight Islamic State

DUBAI (Reuters) - Bahrain has deployed war planes to Jordan, the state news agency BNA said on Sunday, becoming the second Gulf Arab country to send warplanes to help in the fight against Islamist militants in Syria and Iraq.

Jordan has taken a leading role in conducting air strikes against Islamic State strongholds in Syria and Iraq since the militants killed a Jordanian pilot, Mouath al-Kasaesbeh, who was captured by the group after his plane crashed in Syria in December.

"A group of Bahraini Royal Air Force planes have landed in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to participate in the international effort to annihilate terrorism," BNA said.

It did not say how many aircraft or what kind were sent.

The United Arab Emirates last week sent a squadron of F-16 jet fighters to Jordan to conduct air strikes against Islamic State alongside Jordanian planes.

Egypt: Sisi says Cairo will avenge IS beheadings of 21 Egyptian Copts in Libya

CAIRO (Reuters) - President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said on Sunday that Egypt reserved the right to respond in a way it sees fit to the Islamic State's beheading of 21 Egyptians in neighboring Libya.

Sisi warned Cairo would choose the "necessary means and timing to avenge the criminal killings". He was speaking on national television hours after Islamic State released a video purportedly showing the beheading of 21 Egyptian Christians in Libya.

#RealIslam: ISIS hits morality rock bottom - threatens to burn children alive in a cage

(Speisa) A picture posted by Pegida on Twitter shows children gathered and locked into a cage, and a someone holding a lit torch.

The source of the picture is not known or verified but the children are wearing the same orange jump suits as previous victims of ISIS' horrific execution methods.

Not long ago a Jordanian pilot was burned alive in a cage by ISIS, which triggered the Jordanian king to react and issue the following statement before bombing the crap out of the terrorist organization in Syria:

"Any son of a bitch takes a shot at me, I'm not only going to kill him, I'm going to kill his wife and all his friends and burn his damn house down."

Earlier this week, harrowing pictures emerged which appear to show captured Kurdish fighters paraded in cages by Islamic State militants through the streets of Kirkuk, Iraq.

Now ISIS even plans to burn children alive. It is such a horrific act that words fail to describe it. The terror organization must be exterminated, by any means necessary!

#RealIslam: Islamic State jihadists release video showing beheading of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians in Libya

CAIRO (Reuters) - Islamic State released a video on Sunday purporting to show the beheading of a group of Egyptian Christians kidnapped in Libya, violence likely to deepen Cairo's concerns over security threats from militants thriving in the neighboring country's chaos.

Egypt's state news agency MENA quoted the spokesman for the Coptic Church as confirming that 21 Egyptian Christians believed to be held by Islamic State were dead.

In the video, militants in black marched the captives, dressed in orange jump suits, to a beach the group said was near Tripoli. They were forced down onto their knees, then beheaded.

The video appeared on the Twitter feed of a website that supports Islamic State, which has seized parts of Iraq and Syria and has also beheaded Western hostages.

A caption on the five-minute video read: "The people of the cross, followers of the hostile Egyptian church."

Palestinian terrorists want role in probing 'terrorist' killings of Chapel Hill Muslims

And they don't see the irony.
RAMALLAH, West Bank (Reuters) - The Palestinian government on Saturday condemned as "terrorism" the killings of three young Palestinian-Americans in North Carolina and called on U.S. authorities to include its investigators in the probe.

Police have charged a neighbor with Tuesday's shooting in the town of Chapel Hill of Deah Barakat, 23, his wife Yusor Abu-Salha, 21, and her sister Razan Abu-Salha, 19, saying the incident followed a dispute over parking.

But investigators said they were also looking into whether the suspect, Craig Stephen Hicks, was motivated by hatred toward the victims because they were Muslim.

Branding Hicks "an American extremist and hateful racist", the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said the incident suggested a rise in dangerous discrimination against American Muslims.

"We consider it a serious indication of the growth of racism and religious extremism which is a direct threat to the lives of hundreds of thousands of American citizens who follow the Islamic faith," the ministry said in a statement.

It called for "a serious investigation and the involvement of Palestinian investigators to clarify the circumstances of these assassinations and premeditated murders" in Chapel Hill.

On Thursday, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan criticized U.S. President Barack Obama for "staying silent" over the murders, which have garnered international attention and left some American Muslims feeling concerned about their safety.

"This has hate crime written all over it," said the slain women's father, Mohammad Abu-Salha.

On Friday, Obama issued a statement describing the incident as "brutal and outrageous" and said no one in the United States should be targeted for their religion.

BREAKING NEWS - DENMARK: Shots fired at synagogue in Krystalgade in Copenhagen; UPDATE: 3 wounded, major manhunt underway

Update:

(Reuters) - One person was shot in the head and two police were wounded in an attack on a synagogue in central Copenhagen, Danish police said, adding that it was too early to say whether the incident was connected to an earlier one at an arts cafe.

Danish television station TV2 said a large metro and train station nearby, Norreport, was being evacuated.

The news followed a shooting attack earlier Saturday on a cafe which hosted a debate on freedom of speech and was attended by Swedish artist Lars Vilks, who has been threatened with death for his cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad. One man died in that attack, and police said a suspect was still at large.

BBC found guilty in Parliamentary report on the rise of anti-Semitism in the UK

(London) In the UK, political correctness has seen the growth of anti-Semitism by Islamic immigrants who are allowed to get away with their bigotry and racism by playing the 'Israel' card.

Throughout the country we see many examples of anti-Semitism by left-wing idiots, councils and even governmental bodies simply because they don't wish to offend... Muslims. That is why many councils have voted for the cutting of any links with Israel, the so called banning by councils of anything Israeli, the acute rise on physical attacks on Jews.

So, after the recent rise on attacks on Jews across Europe, the British Government asked for a report to be carried out on the rise of anti-Semitism in the UK.

Well, the report has been published and they found that the so called renowned BBC has been behind the manipulation of the masses by promoting anti-Semitic news reports as the news. Yes, it appears that the left-wing ideology of the BBC, which goes well out of its way in which to defend intolerant Islam every chance it gets:
  • replacing terrorist for militant
  • referring to Muslims as Asians
  • calling Islamic terrorists as misguided criminals
  • referring to any incident against a Muslim as a hate crime
  • downplaying every Islamic hate crime
  • and continuing to state that not all Muslims are terrorists
has no problem referring to each and every Jew as complicit in hatred towards non-Jews. Oh, for years the BBC has denied any allegation they promoted anti-Semitism, yet the British Parliamentary report states otherwise. I quote:
An antisemitic trope about Jewish control of politicians referenced by a BBC journalist.

In particular, the BBC, had a role to play in whipping up anger through emotive content in the news and analysis that was broadcast. There was certainly a significant focus on the conflict. Using various analytical tools, Dr Ben Gidley found that there had been particularly intense coverage of protests and demonstrations against Israel and the conflict in general when compared to other countries and conflicts.

“References to and interest in the ‘Jewish lobby’ was not only a feature of political debate.[…] We were warned however of “the capacity of this sort of article to generate troubling stereotypes” given a reference to ‘the Jewish lobby’ was made when the article was discussed on the BBC News Channel. We note that the language used to collectively describe Jews was raised again in this regard in early 2015.”

Follower of Mohammed attacks Danish Cafe hosting free speech debate, killing 1 wounding 3 others

(Copenhagen) In yet another example of the intolerance expressed towards anybody who discusses Islam and free speech, a gunman tonight attacked a cafe (Krudttonden) in the Danish captial which was hosting an event on free speech.

The event which was attended by the French Ambassador to Denmark and the Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks (the Swedish artist who has faced death threats for caricaturing the the pedophillic founder of Islam, Muhammad), appears to have offended somebody from the religion of peace to tip up and empty around 200 rounds into the venue. However, after the attack on Charlie Hebdo, the authorities placed armed police outside and they returned fire, preventing a mass murder. Still, the gunman was able to get away, leaving 1 person dead and another 3 policemen injured. Danish Police have issued pictures of the gunman.

But was the attack an unexpected surprise? No.

ISIS jihadists seize western Iraqi town

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Islamic State insurgents took control on Thursday of most of the western Iraqi town of al-Baghdadi, threatening an air base where U.S. Marines are training Iraqi troops, officials said.

Al-Baghdadi, about 85 km (50 miles) northwest of Ramadi in Anbar province, had been besieged for months by the radical Sunni Islamist militants who captured vast swathes of northern and western Iraq last year.

"Ninety percent of al-Baghdadi district has fallen under the control of the insurgents," district manager Naji Arak told Reuters by phone.

Militants attacked al-Baghdadi from two directions earlier in the day and then advanced on the town, intelligence sources and officials in the Jazeera and Badiya operations commands said.

The officials said another group of insurgents then attacked the heavily-guarded Ain al-Asad air base five km southwest of the town, but were unable to break into it.

About 320 U.S. Marines are training members of the Iraqi 7th Division at the base, which has been struck by mortar fire on at least one previous occasion since December.

UN warns Yemen 'collapsing' as Al Qaeda seizes army camp

Sanaa (AFP) - UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon warned Thursday that Yemen was falling apart and called for action to avert chaos, as Al-Qaeda fighters overran an army camp and seized heavy weaponry.

The UN chief was reporting to the 15-member council after talks with Gulf officials that he said concentrated on "preventing civil war in Yemen".

"Let me be clear: Yemen is collapsing before our eyes. We cannot stand by and watch," Ban told the council.

Two more British police forces admit to asking news agents for names of customers who bought Charlie Hebdo

(England) The other day I wrote about how a British police force had demanded from news agents the names of people who had purchased the survivor issue of Charlie Hebdo, but when caught out, apologised and stated that they had removed those names from the national police database.

Well, what do you know, it transpires that 2 more police forces in the UK have admitted to taking the names of people who bought that issue of  Charlie Hebdo. Yup, it appears in politically correct Britain the authorities who have allowed Islamic hate mongers to strut their stuff for over 15 years, who not only remained silent on Islamic rape gangs but castigated those who brought the matter to the police, who can't prevent Islamic terrorists from leaving the Island whilst under observation, are more than happy to keep an eye on people who have committed the crime of... purchasing a legal (and within the law) magazine in the UK. Welcome to Londonistan.

From Iran with Love: Obama Hung in Effigy by Iranians at Anniversary March for 1979 Revolution

Obama's foreign policy fail

(Cairo) Well, Obama really is going to go down as the idiot who ruined America's reputation, what with North Korea, Iran, Russia and China all fancying their chances, by turning his back on the UK, Israel and Taiwan and by trying to treat Islamic terrorists as misguided criminals. You can see why America's standing in the world has plummeted since Bush left office.

An in yet another fail of American foreign policy, Egypt which procures all its weapons from the US has decided that getting told to respect the rights of Islamic terrorists by a country which bombs them from the air just isn't on and by withholding the delivery of F-16 jets a few years back got them looking elsewhere, which is why the breaking news at the moment is that Egypt is on the cusp of purchasing 24 French Rafale jets. Yes, the plane that France couldn't sell to anybody is the one the Pharaohs want after Obama tried to tell them how to treat their terrorists by withholding weapons systems already paid for.

Way to go, Obama.

One MILLION Child Victims of Muslim Rape Gangs in the U.K.?

(FPM) In a gut-wrenching development, it may turn out that last year’s report detailing a decade-and-a-half of sexual exploitation inflicted on at least 1,400 children from Rotherham, England—and the PC-driven effort to cover it up–may represent the proverbial tip of the iceberg. The city’s Labor MP Sarah Champion believes as many as one million children may have been victimized, describing it as a “national disaster” that requires the establishment of a task force to deal with the “horror.”

Champion picks up the story following the release of a report, titled “The Independent Inquiry Into Child Exploitation in Rotherham, 1997-2013.” “The day after the first report broke the victims started coming to me,” she told the Daily Mirror. “They couldn’t go to the police, they couldn’t go to the (Rotherham Borough) Council. So who do you go to?”

“For the first three weeks I generally thought I was losing my mind. I nearly lost my mind because of the level of depravity and horror,” she continued. “Listening to what these, now women, had gone through and how they were just left discarded, to flounder on their own. It was utterly mind-blowing and then the problem I had was that I was getting new cases coming to me, ones that hadn’t been reported which they wanted me to report. But I didn’t know who I could trust in the police to report it.”

“There was this parallel universe going on and it is mind-blowing,” she added, revealing that an average of 10 victims per week are seeking her help. Furthermore, it seems her concerns about the police were well-founded: a month after the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) began its investigation, 14 officers were suspended.

Obama Yemen success update: US closing embassy in Yemen amid continued unrest

WASHINGTON (AP) — The United States is closing its embassy in Yemen amid political deadlock and deteriorating security conditions after the takeover of the country by Shiite rebels, two U.S. officials said.

The officials said that diplomats were being evacuated from the country on Tuesday and that the embassy in Sanaa would suspend operations until conditions improve. Yemen has been in crisis for months with Iran-linked Shiite Houthi rebels besieging the capital and then taking control. The U.S. officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the closure publicly on the record.
