Dozen ISIS fighters killed after bogus cooks slip poison into their meals

(Metro) A dozen ISIS fighters have died after the Syrian Free Army infiltrated their camp, posed as cooks and slipped poison into their food.

The group of rebel Syrians pretended to be fellow Islamic State militants when they joined the Fath El-Sahel camp as chefs, The Times of Iraq reported.

They then tried to take out as many fighters as possible by adding poison to their meals, the Syrian Free Army claimed in the report.

More than 1,200 Islamic State soldiers were at the camp at the time.

Among the dozen or so men that died, another 15 were taken to nearby hospitals.

The bogus cooks, who are said to be Syrian Army defectors, then fled with their families to an area outside Deir al-Zour.

They now plan to overthrow Bashar al-Assad.
