Ramadan Death Count: Libya: 25/05/18

(Benghazi) Some loon decided to set off a huge car bomb early this morning on a busy street in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi killing at least seven people, and injuring another 20.

The blast early on Friday morning took place behind the city's largest hotel, Tibesti, on a commercial street full of people. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.

Germany: Reporter asks Muslims in Jordan : "Would you allow your sister to work, travel or live alone.?"

With the mass importation of Islam into Europe and the problems of integration that have arisen regards assimilation especially regards female rights. German  broadcaster Deutsche Welle sent a reporter to moderate Islamic Jordan in the Middle East to ask local men how they would feel if their sisters went out on their own or god forbid to work. The answers from smiling laughing men should be broadcast across the West in which to show that actually Islam is not compatible with our way of life.

South Africa: Government issues statement for Israel to depart Gaza, something it did 13 years ago.

(Pretoria) following on from its motion to close links with Israel regards how it defended itself from mass invasion from Gaza. The South African Government today issued a statement calling on the IDF to withdraw from Gaza. The thing is Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005.

As you may have gathered the responce has been rather cutting:

My favourite has to be this reply:

Ramadan Death Count: Afghanstan: 24/05/18

(Charikar)  A young man in central Parwan province has killed 2 people and injured 3  members of his uncle’s family after they rejected his proposal to marry his cousin.  As is always the case the offended thug did a runner afterwards. No doubt heading west in search of asylum.

(Kabul)  The Afghan government has reported that over 90 armed oppositions including their 3 local commanders of Taliban and 4 ISIS members were killed and 34 others were wounded during joint military operations led by Afghan security forces across the country. One such operation took place in Uruzgan province where 16 ISIS thugs were killed; however the Afghan army lost 8 soldiers (additional to the 90 death toll above)

Elsewhere a Taliban attack on an Army post in Faryabn province saw 12 soldiers killed by the Taliban

Ramadan Death Count: Bangladesh: 24/05/18

(Dhaka) A anti-drug crackdown across the country these past 5 days has seen at least 35 people have been killed in ‘shootouts’ by law-enforcement agencies.

In fact Law-enforcement agencies stated that they had engaged in gun battles with drug traffickers in eight districts overnight on Tuesday alone. Rights organisations have expressed their anxiety over the killings and the way the law-enforcement agencies are combating drug trafficking. They have demanded an end to these extrajudicial killings.

Ramadan Death Count: Lebanon: 24/05/18

(Beirut) A soldier in the Lebanese Army was killed and several others wounded in clashes Tuesday in the northern city of Tripoli. Apparently the Army were chasing down men under arrest warrants, however they were ambushed which resulted in a number of military personnel being injured of which Ali Mustafa, later succumbing to his wounds.

Ibrahim Kokolaki has been arrested for his involvement in the attack, however his sidekick Jihad Baltaji is still on the run.

Ramadan Death Count: Iraq: 24/05/18

(Baghdad) At least four people were killed Thursday in Baghdad, the Iraqi capital, after a suicide bomb was detonated, another 15 people were injured. The attacker detonated an explosive vest after security forces closed in on him in the predominantly Shi'ite Shula district, apparently his target was  Saqlawiyah park where many Iraqi families pass the time in the cool evening air between breaking their fast and starting it.

Israel: Photo released of F35 stealth fighter flying over Beirut.

(Jerusalem)  So the other-day  the IDF revealed that they had used the F35A stealth fighter in its recent attacks on Iranian assets inside Syria and last night a photo was revealed by a Israeli TV news station of a F35 flying over Beirut. Whilst some will see this as a leak, I'd go down the path that this was a very subtle message to Iran and Hezb-allah that despite getting their hands on advanced anti-aircraft missiles the IDF can now strike them at will.

Expect the usual outpouring of so called moral outrage from the ethical tofu crowd, once they wake up in the morning.

Ramadan Death Count: India: 23/05/18

(Kashmir) Five civilians were killed and nine others injured as Pakistani troops rained mortars and opened heavy fire on Indian villages and army border posts along the International Border between India and Pakistan for the sixth day running. Its appears that for Pakistanis Ramadan isn't a time for peace, and good thoughts.

Which kind of explains why since last Friday nearly 40,000 residents have fled the 200 kilometre-long (125 mile) conflict zone, between the Jammu region in India-administered Kashmir and Pakistan's Punjab province. Indian authorities have closed all schools within five kilometres (three miles) of the border and have lodged panicked residents in camps away from the guns.

Ramadan Death Count: Libya: 23/05/18

(Ajdabiya) A suicide bomber has targeted fighters loyal to Libyan militia leader Khalifa Haftar, killing two people. The attack took place in the eastern city of Ajdabiya, and it follows a wave of attacks from Islamic State group-linked militants against Haftar's self-styled Libyan National Army (LNA).
