Pakistan: Suicide attack leaves 11 Pakistani soldiers dead,

(Swat) A suicide attack on Saturday evening in the Swat Valley left at least 11 Pakistani soldiers dead and 13 more wounded.



The bomber apparently targeted the sports area of the army unit located in Sharifabad area of the Swat Valley. The incident is the first attack in the northwestern region, which was once controlled by militants, in over three years. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi strongly condemned the attack and vowed relentless fight against the terrorist groups.
