Ramadan death count round up: 01/06/17

(Afghanistan) As its Ramadan, the nice peaceful people of Kabul decided to have a not so peaceful protest regards the bomb attack the other day which murdered around 90 people and injured 600 more. The security forces pissed off by getting attacked by the very people they are dying in their hundreds protecting, said enough is enough and opened fire. Currently 5 people have been killed , with quite a few injured.


(Egypt) Two Palestinians from the Gaza Strip were killed on Friday in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula while fighting with ISIS. Palestinians security forces confirmed that Ahmad Zaqout, 25, from al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza city and Fadi al-Hajar, 26, from central Gaza City, were killed while fighting with the group on Friday.

(Mali) French Operation Barkhane said Friday that activities carried out by soldiers from Sunday to Thursday in the Serma forest left 20 jihadis "out of combat." It said the operation began with airstrikes followed by soldiers on land.

(Turkey) The Turkish army killed a Kurd armed with a rifle in eastern Malatya province.

(Yemen) A bomb blast at a crowded Ramadan market in the town of al-Hazm killed six civilians and injured 15 others on Thursday night.

Ramadan death toll stands at 1,082.
