North Korea: Hours after Korea leader halts THAAD deployment, North Korea in a show of force launches missiles

(Seoul) Yesterday, the South Korea President, who was elected in May on a platform of seeking renewed dialogue with North Korea, halted the installation of an anti-missile system, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), that is intended to guard South Korea against missile attacks from the North, citing the need for an environmental assessment.

Yesterday, the North Koreans gave their response by launching a number of missiles into the sea off the coast of Wonsan.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in is a Human rights lawyer who has stated that he wishes to defuse the tensions between the 2 countries, and that South Korea must do more for peace:
“I will do whatever it takes to help settle peace on the Korean Peninsula,”
Since his Inauguration and the start of a less aggressive dealings with North Korea. The fat little dictator next door has carried out the following Missile launches in response:
  • May 13, 2017 - test-fired an intermediate range ballistic missile from a test site on the country's West Coast
  • May 21, 2017 - Test-fired a Pukguksong-2 medium-range ballistic missile from Pukchang airfield .
  • May 29, 2017- Fired a Short Range Ballistic Missile into the Sea of Japan.
  • June 8, 2017 - Fired several missiles into the Sea of Japan
I for one would love to see him succeed. However I do wonder how long it will be before even he wakes up and smells the coffee that some people are simply evil and cannot be treated as adults.
