China: New Military hardware

Whilst the media has been waxing lyrical about the launch of the second Chinese carrier in which to promote the growing military strength of Peking.  They completely ignore the numerous other examples of growth of Chinese military power. For example the other day China started flight tests on the AG 600 Amphibious Aircraft, only the world's largest amphibious aircraft

Then there was the unveiling of the Hongdu L-15B  Light attack aircraft (Note the video is for the L-15)

This followed the first test flight of the 2 seat JF-17B fighter aircraft:

A couple of weeks ago the Chinese launched their first cargo spacecraft, Tianzhou-1, into space, successfully docked with the Tiangong-2 space laboratory on 22 April 2017. a crucial step for the country in building a space station by 2022.

Then there was the first flight testing of the Comac C919 passenger jet, which China Is hoping will allow it to break the monopoly of Boeing and Airbus.

In January China's North Sea Fleet receives its first Type 052D destroyer. Which is supposed to have capabilities similar to those of U.S. Arleigh Burke-class destroyers.

In feb, pictures emerged of a new type of Chinese armoured vehicle:

Also in Feb, the China Shipbuilding Trading Corporation (CSSC) revealed a new trimaran-hulled frigate concept at the IDEX show held in Abu Dhabi, a concept which looks very similar to the US littoral combat ships (funny that)

Whilst President Trump bemoans the cost of the F35 stealth fighter , with many senators actually trying to cut the numbers, China has been slogging away in the background with its own version of the F-35, say hello to the Shenyang J-31 the second chinses stealth fighter. A plane I should add which Pakistan is looking at buying, and if they do, others will follow. (Say Iran, Syria or even North Korea)

Of course equipment means nothing if you don't have trained personnel to use it. Here is a video of Chinese Special forces at play:
