Ramadan Death count: Iraq 02/07/16

Iraqi security forces managed have liberated 3 km of Khalidiya island from ISIS control. The battles have resulted in the killing of 14 ISIS members and the destruction of four booby-trapped vehicles, three mortar detachments and a rocket launcher.

The commander of the 41st brigade of the Army’s Tenth Division was Saturday by an ISIS sniper in Khalediya island (23 km east of Ramadi).

Saturday evening, unidentified gunmen, opened fire on an employee of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement. The incident took place at al-Canal Street in eastern Baghdad resulting in the death of the shot man.

Second Regiment of the Iraqi 53rd Division  targeted an ISIS convey near Nazim Taqsim west of Baghdad on Friday resulting  in the deaths of 37 ISIS terrorists and destroying 13 vehicles.

Iraqi security forces  targeted an ISIS shelter in the area of al-Abar, south of Amiriyah (south of Fallujah), on Friday resulting in the death of 15 ISIS terrorists.

A explosive device which went off near a shop in the vicinity of al-Yusufiyah, south of Baghdad, Friday lunch time resulted in the death of one person and wounded ten others.
