Turkey goes into meltdown over Germanys vote to recognize Armenian genocide

Turkey has really become upset over how the German Bundestag has recognized the 1915 Armenian genocide. Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Germany should be the “last country to hold a vote on genocide” after he withdrew the Turkish ambassador in protest against Thursday’s vote in Berlin.
“Germany, I am telling you again: first, you have to give an account of the Holocaust. And how you massacred more than 100,000 Namibians in Namibia, you should give an account of that”.
This was followed by the spokesman of the Turkish Presidency, İbrahim Kalın, who criticized the German parliament on Monday in the op-ed piece he penned for various media outlets, including German ones.
"Instead of accusing Turkey with false claims, Germany should put pressure on Armenia to proceed with efforts to resolve the conflict."
Political columnists across Turkey have penned their disgust of the Germans:
Inside Germany, MPs of a Turkish background have been painted as traitors towards Turkey and are now receiving extra police protection. Anybody else find it strange how a major Islamic nation such as Turkey still denies any wrong doing when it murdered millions of Armenians around 1915, whilst castigating others, such as Israel, as evil for killing a lot less? And here’s the difference: whilst Israel does have blood on its hands, the vast majority has been in self defence of the state, its people and its existence, whereupon the blood on Turkish hands regards the Armenians is all cold. Yet, whilst the Islamic world demands recognition of any past indiscretion of the Western world (just look at the Crusades where Islam was the invader of the Christian holy land, but in actual fact they won and yet they still bitch about what victims they are), they remain tight lipped about their own and will go well out of their way in which to continue to play the victim card in which to excuse the blood that drips off their hands.

Oh look there’s that ‘H’ word again.
