US Delta team kidnaps Al Quada leader in broad daylight in central Tripoli

(Libya) Saturday wasn't a good day for Al Quada, along with the taking out of one of its idiots in Somalia by a US Delta team. it transpires that a few thousand miles north in Libya something similar was taking place on the streets of the Libyan capital 'Tripoli.

Anas al-Liby isn't exactly somebody you would call an innocent man, his bio reads as:
Began working directly for Osama bin Laden and Ayman al Zawahiri. He relocated with al Qaeda to Sudan in the early 1990s, and was part of the terrorist team that plotted the twin US Embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania on August 7, 1998. He  lived in the UK and after the embassy bombings his apartment was raided. Authorities found a copy of a manual entitled, "Military Studies in the jihad Against the Tyrants," which included advice on everything from forging passports to using poisons such as Ricin in terrorist attacks. In September 2012, CNN reported that al Libi, a computer and intelligence specialist, was living freely in Tripoli.Abu Anas al Libi has played a key role in al Qaeda's plan for Libya, is described as the "builder of al Qaeda's network in Libya. and is most likely involved in al Qaeda strategic planning and coordination between AQSL and Libyan Islamist militias who adhere to al Qaeda's ideology,"

Which is why yesterday morning when he was parking his car up after the morning shopping run he was met by a number of burly men tooled up for bear who asked him to come along quiety and as he subscribes to the peaceful religion of Islam he did so. Of course, this hasn't gone down well with the western apologists of Islamic terrorism, which is why the bBC are having something of a melt down at the moment.
