CAIR Teams Up with Banned Anti-Semitic Muslim Preacher Yusuf al-Qaradawi in Mohammed Movie

(RadicalIslam.org) CAIR, the Council on American Islamic Relations, who bills themselves as the voice of American Muslims, has joined forces with an extremist and virulent anti-Semitic Islamist preacher in announcing a movie to be made about  Mohammed.

Nihad Awad, co-founder and executive director of CAIR, and Yusuf al-Qaradawi, a Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader, shared the stage at a recent news conference in Qatar where the announced the project was announced.

Qaradawi, who has been banned in the U.S., Britain and France for his hate-filled rhetoric, is one of the most popular Islamic preacher in the world and considered the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Qaradawi is on record as having said, “Throughout history, Allah has imposed upon the [Jews] people who would punish them for their corruption. The last punishment was carried out by Hitler. By means of all the things he did to them – even though they exaggerated this issue – he managed to put them in their place. This was divine punishment for them. Allah willing, the next time will be at the hand of the believers….”

Qaradawi added, “I’d like to say that the only thing I hope for is that as my life approaches its end, Allah will give me an opportunity to go to the land of Jihad and resistance, even if in a wheelchair. I will shoot Allah’s enemies, the Jews, and they will throw a bomb at me, and thus, I will seal my life with martyrdom.”

Qarawadi’s extremism led the United States, Britian and France to ban him from entering their countries.

Awad, himself, is on record as supporting Hamas. During a March 1994 symposium at Barry University, Awad declared, "I am in support of the Hamas movement." His organization, CAIR, has been named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest ever terror-funding trial in U.S. history.
