Russia sells China 48 fighter jets, asks them not to clone them

(Moscow) In a sign of desperation in which to help keep the Russian arms industry on its feet, Russia has gone back on its word of refusing to sell China its latest military equipment - due to the Chinese cloning them and thus competing against the original article on the world's markets, but at a cheaper price - and decided to go ahead and sell the Chinese 48 of its latest Su-35 fighter jets. But they have inserted a clause into the contract - the Chinese are forbidden to clone them.

Well, it seems the Russians have more faith with the Chinese than I do.
